Cellular Competition in Canada

Normally this isn’t the site for such things, but mobile and internet technology is incredibly important to the media industry, and for too long giant companies have had too much control over pricing by just buying out or destroying the competition. This is good for them, but bad in fostering all the other industries that rely on their services. This petition, put forth by Open Media (.ca) asks Canadians if they want to see more competition. Personally, I do. Much like the stop the meter campaign, this is about fair pricing – and stopping the gouging that has been going on for far too long.
